In the past 24 hours, responding to shooting incidents that occurred overnight, police conducted a targeted operation in the city. The raid netted three Glock pistols, extended magazines loaded with ammunition, magazines for M-16 rifles, and hundreds of rounds of IDF ammunition suspected to be stolen. Police also seized gloves and a balaclava, and arrested suspects for weapons possession and shooting.

These seizures add to extensive operations carried out in the city in recent days, during which additional combat equipment was confiscated. Among the items seized were three M-16 assault rifles, another Glock pistol, a Carlo-type weapon, an improvised pistol, dozens of magazines, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Several suspects were arrested in that operation as well and taken for questioning.
