Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) announced Sunday that it arrested a Russian minor for threatening to carry out a terror attack at a park in Moscow, following intelligence received from the United States, according to the Interfax news agency. The arrest came after the FSB reported Saturday evening that it had received information from the U.S. through established partnership channels regarding preparations for an attack in Moscow, and that it was taking appropriate measures.
According to the report, the minor posted photos on TikTok showing himself wearing tactical clothing and a ski mask while holding what appeared to be an automatic weapon, alongside images taken at the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve in Moscow with the caption: “Found a place.” “We thank the American side for providing the information,” the news agency quoted from the Russian security service’s statement.

Authorities who searched the minor’s home found the clothing and accessories seen in the social media posts, while his phone showed he was subscribed to a neo-Nazi channel on the Telegram app and contained “a large number of searches and links related to terror attacks, mass murder, and other acts of violence,” according to Interfax.
Russia’s Investigative Committee is examining what legal or procedural steps to take, the FSB said. The Tsaritsyno Museum, a palace and park complex in southern Moscow, was temporarily closed Saturday following the American report.
