A driver was killed after his vehicle caught fire on Route 92 near Ma’ale Gamla Junction in the Golan Heights. The driver, whose identity has not yet been released, was critically injured. Medics who arrived at the scene pronounced him dead.
Northern District police were called to the scene and are investigating the circumstances of the incident. Route 92 is currently closed between Ramot Junction and Yehudiya Junction.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area, use alternate routes, and stay updated on traffic arrangements. Drive carefully and follow instructions from officers on the ground.
