Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Yariv Levin is projected to finish third on Likud’s slate after 99% of votes were counted, giving him a significant achievement in the party’s primary. As results continued to come in, Levin posted on social media thanking party members for their trust, saying it represents confidence “not only in me personally, but first and foremost in the path I am leading.”
Levin also addressed judicial reform in his remarks, making clear he intends to keep pushing it forward: “A huge public demands completion of the judicial reform. A huge public demands justice. I will continue to act without fear to make it happen.”
He went on to thank outgoing ministers and Knesset members who weren’t elected this time, saying their contribution to the state and the movement will always stand to their credit. He closed by calling on Likud members to unite ahead of the elections to ensure victory for Likud and the national camp.
