Ukrainian drones struck two major logistics centers belonging to Wildberries—considered Russia’s Amazon and the country’s largest online retailer—overnight Tuesday. The attacks sparked massive fires in the cities of Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk.

According to local media reports and the Krasnodar operational headquarters, residents heard between 20 and 30 explosions. Satellite images and videos circulating on social media showed multiple separate fire sites on the outskirts of Krasnodar. Eyewitnesses reported that the city’s air raid sirens activated only after the explosions began and operated for just a minute and a half.
Simultaneously with the Krasnodar strike, a fire was reported at another company warehouse in Nevinnomyssk. Additionally, explosions were heard in the city of Armavir, where an oil depot was hit and caught fire.

This attack follows a similar incident last weekend, when waves of Ukrainian drones hit two other logistics centers belonging to the retail giant as well as an oil facility in Russia. Eight people were killed in that attack and dozens more were wounded.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the earlier strikes and explained that the targeted sites served Russia’s defense industry. According to him, the company’s logistics facilities were being used to manufacture drones and store military navigation equipment for the Russian military.
