Four suspects from central Israel were arrested Wednesday in a joint investigation by the National Unit for Serious and International Crime (Lahav 433) and the Israel Tax Authority, suspected of money laundering and VAT fraud totaling roughly ₪100 million (~$33 million).

Police and tax officials raided a business in Qalansawe, the suspects’ homes, and several currency exchange offices across central Israel, searching for evidence of the alleged financial crimes.
According to investigators, the business was used to launder money and distribute fake invoices on a massive scale—roughly ₪100 million worth.

The four suspects arrested are residents of Qalansawe, Kafr Qasim, and Tel Mond. During the searches, authorities seized four luxury vehicles, gold jewelry, and roughly ₪50,000 (~$16,500) in cash.
