New findings from an initial operational probe have uncovered harrowing details surrounding an extraordinary incident overnight between Sunday and Monday in the Binyamin sector, where an armed off-duty IDF reservist was narrowly rescued after coming under a violent Arab mob ambush near the village of Ein Arik.
1+Contrary to initial reports, the reservist was driving along the Beitunia bypass road within Israeli-controlled Area C, adjacent to the Area A boundary, when a violent mob of Arab rioters aggressively targeted and besieged his vehicle. As the rioters surrounded the car with intent to lynch the soldier, ‘Palestinian’ Authority security officers in the vicinity alerted the IDF.
