Social media platform X recently suspended the account of Yahya Saree, chief spokesperson for the Houthi terrorist organization, after the senior operative violated the platform’s terms of service. According to reports, the terrorist’s account was suspended due to his direct incitement to violence, targeting of civilians and infrastructure, and dissemination of misleading content.
The account suspension comes at a time when conflict between Saudi Arabia, the internationally recognized Yemeni government, and the Houthi terrorist group escalates daily. Following a period of relative calm, heavy fighting resumed last month—resulting in dozens of casualties on all sides, alongside severe damage to energy and civilian infrastructure. In recent years, Yahya Saree transitioned from an obscure figure into a familiar face among Israelis after the terrorist organization entered the war, launching ballistic missiles toward Israel. The spokesperson repeatedly threatened the country and published propaganda videos depicting military drills that simulated a Houthi invasion and occupation of Israeli cities. Throughout the conflict, Israel has repeatedly struck Houthi targets, concentrating heavy strikes on the capital of Sana’a and Hudaydah Port.
