Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dispatched a message to the President of the United States today (Wednesday) during a reburial ceremony for the bones of the grandparents of the Visionary of the State, Theodor Herzl: “Trump is our greatest friend, but I wish to clarify: Israel’s existence is not subject to negotiation.”
At the outset of his remarks, the Prime Minister shared that he would leave the ceremony before its conclusion due to recent developments. “The political demands of the hour will require me to depart before the end of this important ceremony. We are in the midst of military and political events.”
The Prime Minister further emphasized during his speech that the State of Israel will act to guarantee its security under any possible scenario: “With an agreement or without an agreement, we will do whatever is necessary to secure our future.”
