Border Police forces from Judea and Samaria and IDF troops from the Ephraim Brigade raided a charity organization in Qalqilya, Samaria, suspected of operating as a front to finance and support terror groups. During the operation, forces confiscated equipment and thousands of shekels in cash suspected of being terror financing funds.
1+Forces searched the organization’s compound and confiscated equipment used by its offices. In addition, several safes were located on site and broken into by the forces. Inside the safes, troops found thousands of shekels as well as sums of money in foreign currency.
According to protocol, a symbolic amount of money was left on site for humanitarian purposes only. At the end of the operation, forces sealed the building that served the organization and welded shut all its entrances.
1+The operation was carried out as part of the fight against terror financing and aimed to confiscate funds and equipment suspected of serving terror infrastructure. The Border Police and IDF said forces will continue to operate against terror infrastructure and their funding sources.
