A group of hikers was attacked by an Arab mob near the town Gilad Farm in Samaria. This comes about a week after an arson terror attack was done against the town, destroying 26 houses and hurting over a 140 families living there.
Apparently, the incident began after several Israeli hikers from the “David and Ahikam” hiking group, who were walking near the village of Till in the Samaria Brigade sector, encountered terrorists near the village mosque who attacked them. Consequently, the security officer of town of Gilad Farm rushed to the scene.
At around 8:20 AM, a report was received of a gunshot victim after the terrorists stole the security officer’s personal weapon and opened fire on Israeli civilians. Four people were wounded, one of them seriously, according to initial reports. IDF forces, security forces and medical teams were called to the scene. Israeli forces placed a blockade on the village of Till and on several entrances to the city of Nablus.

Samaria governer, Yossi Dagan, has joined Israeli forces on the scene, saying: “The incident is still ongoing. There are still people in danger, terror will not break us. The response must be offensive, to pursue the terrorists to the end and strike terror with full force. At the same time we must continue to build, develop and strengthen the settlement in Samaria. Whoever tries to harm us needs to know that they will get a stronger and larger Samaria.”
