Residents in Dubai received warnings about potential missile fire, according to local reports.
This is the first time such an alert has been sent since the ceasefire with Iran came into effect. The message received on mobile devices reads: “Due to the current situation and potential missile threat, please seek immediate shelter in a secure building away from windows, doors and open areas and await official instructions.”
Later, the local Ministry of Interior informed residents about the return to normalcy and announced that the event was over, along with instructions received on mobile phones: “Exercise caution, act in accordance with safety instructions.” Authorities in the Emirates informed Reuters that “the situation is currently safe.”
