President Donald Trump said Iran has informed the United States that it is in a “state of collapse.”
In a post on social media, Trump wrote that Iran wants the U.S. to reopen the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible while the regime tries to sort out its leadership situation.
“Iran just informed us that they are in a ‘state of collapse.’ They want us to open the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible, while they try to sort out their leadership situation (which I think they will succeed in doing!),” Trump wrote. “Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
